Overview
Building the digital backbone for a fragmented beverage industry. I transformed a manual, error-prone wholesale market into a unified data platform that connects major suppliers with thousands of gastronomy clients in real-time.
The Challenge
The beverage wholesale market was trapped in legacy systems. Suppliers used dozens of different ERP formats, leading to massive data fragmentation. "Coca-Cola" appeared as 50 different SKUs, stock levels were updated weekly (causing high rejection rates), and onboarding a new supplier took weeks of manual data entry.
The Solution
- Unified Data Standard:: I built a pipeline that automatically ingests and normalizes messy supplier data into one clean "Golden Record" catalog.
- Real-Time Sync:: Moved from weekly batch updates to near real-time inventory synchronization, slashing out-of-stock rejections.
- Rapid Scaling:: Automated the supplier onboarding process, reducing the technical time-to-market from weeks to days.
